Retezat park it's the oldest Romanian national park , it was made in 1935 and the region retezat have the biggest mountains peak over 2000+ meters ( over 20 ) . The mountains with streams have more than 80 glacial lakes and the largest glacial lake in Romania is the Bucura lake in Retezat and it have ( 8.8 ha ) and the highest mountain peak in retezat mountains it's Peleaga with an attitude of 2.509 meters . The deepest glacial lake it's Zanoaga 29 meter deep.
